Problem
Social Researchers are using slow and outdated and limiting tools to conduct an audit. In order to make the research from beginning to an end, the researchers have to use different tools to store the information, conduct an audit, send the audit, and analyze the data.
Solution
Surv is smart tool that enables companies to conduct and automate end-to-end research in few clicks.
Surv helps the companies to store the data, quickly select or exclude the targeting category of the survey, Surv lets researchers to conduct an audit in person, on phone or online, and CRM settings are enabling users to automate (schedule the audit date and send it to phone or mail). Once the research is made, Surv helps to analise the data with the integrated AI and visual charts.
Part 1 - Interview
I conducted a 15 minute interview with a social researchers analyzing which tools they are using, and what would they like to change or develop.
Which tools are you using to conduct an audit?
How long does it take to select enough people for research?
Do you conduct just offline interviews?
Are online interviews automated?
Which apps do you use to analyze the data?
How long does it take to conduct end-to-end research?
Findings
There is not a single platform that combines conducting a research, store the information, and analyze it
Selecting specific category of people for the interview is either chaotic, or only a few factors are used in order to select a segment, or to select specific people it might weeks
Without smart selection of people, the research will not guarantee the correct results
It costs a lot to conduct end-to-end research because many different apps are involved to select category, conduct a research, store the data, and analyse it.
In order to decrease a high cost of the surveys, companies are using different cheap services that makes the research lasts for too long
The analysis of the research is happening on different platforms without any additional AI help.
Part 2 - Market Research
There is no singular app that lets you store the information, select target segment, conduct a research, automate it, and analyze the data all at once. The audits were using internal custom made sites to store the information and select the target audience, SurveyMonkey and Google Forms to conduct online research, MailChimp for managing emails, and Tableau for analising the data.
Part 3 - Turning Research Results into a Concept
Combine all the services into one app
Let the users choose to store the data on their database storage, or offer storage memory service
Facilitate online and offline research with simple, user-friendly interface
Solution
The app's user-friendly interface and intuitive design make it easy for users to track their financial activities in real-time, view their transaction history, and receive alerts for upcoming bills and payments. Users can also set budget goals and receive personalized financial advice based on their spending patterns, helping them stay on track and achieve their financial objectives.
Part 6 - Wireframes
I focused on creating an audit at this stage and wanted to get external opinions early on. I asked some people to navigate the prototype without guidance and wanted to see:
If the navigation was intuitive
If there were features/information missing they would have found useful
How they felt during the process
Positive
Navigation was quite intuitive
